Concept to Creation︱Cole + Elina
Cole + Elina are some of those people that you meet and they instantly feel like your best fiends. They’re warm and fun, and their love story is one for the books!
They met on the World Race some years ago and waited until the timing was perfect to begin their story perfectly and intentionally. They have traveled the world together, and there love has grown each day.
When Cole mentioned to me that he was getting ready to propose I was SO excited.
You can imagine my true excitement when he also mentioned he wanted me to make the ring. I cried!
Elina wanted something elegant but with the smallest dash of unquiness and I feel like we truly accomplished that together.
We started with just the center 3 stones.
CAD 1:
CAD 2: We felt that the split shank was missing something, so we tried the trillion diamonds instead.
CAD 3: We changed the setting style on the baguettes, and the CAD felt polished and complete.
Her ring is completed with a perfect 1.92ct Emerald Cut Diamond, 2 Petite Straight Baguettes, and 2 Petite Trillion Cut Diamonds. This ring screams, “Chic but different,” and I couldn’t love it more.
And my very own husband got to film their proposal day!
